Bathroom Design Inspiration: Mixing Modern & Classic
When designing this space, I wanted something modern yet timeless. I love a high-end feel on a budget, so I focused on:
Hexagon tile floors – A bold geometric pattern for a designer touch. I found these on clearance at Home Depot, and they became the inspiration for the entire remodel.
Tile wainscoting – Instead of wood, I extended the subway tile up the walls for a polished look. Since my kids still use this bathroom, I wanted something easy to wipe down and keep clean.
Black & white contrast – A crisp, classic combination that never goes out of style.
Minimalist decor – Clean lines, soft textures, and elegant details.
