Crispy Air Fryer Seasoned French Fries

Ingredients

  • 4-6 russet potatoes
  • 3 Tbsp olive or avocado oil
  • 2 Tbsps cornstarch

Fry Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp coarse black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  • Cut 4-5 large russet potatoes in fry shape.
  • Soak and rinse in cold water.
  • Dry off the potatoes.
  • Add cornstarch and oil. Stir to coat evenly.
  • Air fry* on 2 trays at 400 degrees for 24 minutes. (More Fries might need more time.)
  • Switch the top and bottom racks halfway through the cook time.
  • After 24 minutes, remove from oven and toss in the fry seasoning.

Notes

You can use an oven if you don't have an air fryer with racks.
We make a batch of the fry seasoning to have it on hand when needed!
  • Change the seasoning measurement to 1/4 cup each and store in an airtight mason jar.
