- 3 cups packed fresh basil leaves
- 8 cloves garlic
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
Combine basil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, olive oil and nuts in food processor.
Blend into a smooth psate.

- Additionally, you can add salt and pepper.
- Garlic should be to taste!
- Toasting nuts is not required but I like to toast them in a pan just until they become fragrant.
- Pine Nuts can be substituted with other nuts: walnuts, pistachios, almonds, and even sunflower seeds.
