Honey Ginger Wings

This recipe is one of our favorite chicken wings recipe. I like that it is oven baked and not fried. The key cooking them on a wire rack and not having the wings touch while cooking. You could cook in your air fryer and get them done a little faster.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs Chicken Wings
- 3 tbsp ginger
- 3 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Whisk together marinade ingredients
- Add marinade and wings to a large ziplock bag and mix together, coating all wings
- Refrigerate and marinate for 4 hours
- Preheat oven to 375. Set a wire rack on a tin foil-covered baking sheet. *You will need two
- Place wings on a wire rack, leaving space between each wing. Reserving the marinade.
- Cook the wings for 35 minutes in the oven.
- Simmer the reserved marinade in a saucepan for at least 3 minutes then turn off the heat.
- Remove the wings, brush with marinade, and flip each wing, marinade the other side.
- Bake for another 35 minutes.
- Remove wings from oven and coat with marinade again before serving.
