Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Easy Recipe the entire family will love!
Recipe Review
These chicken lettuce wraps are a flavor-packed, weeknight win. Modeled after the iconic PF Chang’s dish, the combination of ground chicken, water chestnuts, green onions, and an umami-rich hoisin sauce makes this dish both satisfying and light. The fresh butter lettuce leaves add a crisp contrast that keeps it low-carb without sacrificing crunch. Whether you’re making it as an appetizer or a main dish, this copycat recipe hits all the right notes of sweet, savory, and slightly spicy.
Recipe Tips and Notes
- Don’t skip the water chestnuts – They add that signature crunch and texture contrast that makes this dish so satisfying.
- Lettuce options – Butter lettuce is ideal for wraps, but romaine hearts or iceberg leaves also work in a pinch.
- Make it spicy – Add a few teaspoons of sriracha or a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce if you like heat.
- Meal prep-friendly – The chicken filling stores well for 3–4 days in the fridge. Just reheat and wrap!
- Double the sauce – If you’re a sauce lover, consider making 1.5x the amount to drizzle extra over the wraps or serve on the side for dipping.
