This recipe is one of our favorite chicken wings recipe. I like that it is oven baked and not fried. The key cooking them on a wire rack and not having the wings touch while cooking. You could cook in your air fryer and get them done a little faster.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Chicken Wings
  • 3 tbsp ginger
  • 3 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Whisk together marinade ingredients
  • Add marinade and wings to a large ziplock bag and mix together, coating all wings
  • Refrigerate and marinate for 4 hours
  • Preheat oven to 375. Set a wire rack on a tin foil-covered baking sheet. *You will need two
  • Place wings on a wire rack, leaving space between each wing. Reserving the marinade.
  • Cook the wings for 35 minutes in the oven.
  • Simmer the reserved marinade in a saucepan for at least 3 minutes then turn off the heat.
  • Remove the wings, brush with marinade, and flip each wing, marinade the other side.
  • Bake for another 35 minutes.
  • Remove wings from oven and coat with marinade again before serving.
